For networkers: Business Information Technology
Excellent career opportunities and a Bachelor of Science in just three years. In cooperation with the University of Cooperative Education Heidenheim, we are training future business information technology specialists. We place great value on the effective integration of theory and practice. The course alternates between 3-month periods learning the fundamentals of information technology with 3-month periods of work experience at Media-Saturn IT Services, the Media-Saturn Group’s IT service provider, where the students can apply what they have learned in, for example, the departments involved in development, operations, support and training. Students are encouraged to take a broader perspective. After all, IT specialists provide support to our stores and foreign subsidiaries in 16 European countries. A bachelor’s degree, which is normally awarded after six semesters, is an academic degree with professional qualifications that enables you to assume responsibility for highly skilled technical and management tasks using the know-how you have acquired. In the first year of your studies, you will receive a monthly grant of 700 euros. This grant increases to 800 euros in the second year and 850 euros in the third year.

We are looking for applicants with an advanced certificate of secondary education or general qualification for university entrance who are interested in information technology and who, ideally, already have practical experience with networks and IT infrastructures. Applicants should be able to think and work in a structured manner, meet challenges with an open mind and enjoy looking for solutions as a member of a team.
